“Over the Mountains” is a painting with different inks on yupo paper. The composition is based on concepts from traditional Chinese art combined with Western gestural painting techniques.

This image was published in 2022 in a book written in German and Chinese and containing 31 poems by Theodor Storm. Each poem features an illustration by Friedrich Zettl, who also created the cover.
