“Antique Newspaper with Mao Slogan” is an original edition of a German newspaper from 1864 on which a calligraphy by Mao Zedong was painted.
The sheet is part of a series "The China takeover", in which Western ephemera is overwritten or painted over with Chinese political slogans from the Cultural Revolution.
