“Red Poem” is a work of the series painted calligraphy using ink and rice paper. Poems were written on top of each other over and over again until a painterly texture emerged.
Even if the final product may suggest arbitrariness in writing, it will only work if the rules of traditional Chinese calligraphy are carefully observed.
Ready to hang! Matted and with a black frame.
